Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Janissaries LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), operates Market Action Center, the trading dashboard platform available at marketactioncenter.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using Market Action Center, you acknowledge the data practices described in this policy. Where required, we ask for your consent before enabling non-essential analytics or advertising-related cookies.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information — When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password.
- Trade Data — Information you input into the platform, including trade entries, journal notes, watchlists, scanner settings, and portfolio data. This data is yours and is used solely to provide the Service to you.
- Account-Level Product Activity — For signed-in members, we keep a limited server-timestamped record when a core workflow action is completed and, for repeat use, the UTC calendar day on which that action occurred. This first-party account record is used to operate onboarding and measure account activation and retention. It does not store the ticker, position size, risk limit, trade note, or browser identifier associated with the action.
- Product Feedback — If you send feedback from the signed-in app, we store the category and message with your account email plus limited troubleshooting context: the current workspace, page pathname without its query string, app build, viewport size, browser family, and whether the app is running in a browser or installed display mode. We do not automatically attach ticker selections, account or risk values, trade data, journal content, screenshots, full URLs, or analytics identifiers. A copy may be delivered to our authorized support inbox through our email delivery provider.
- Optional Browser Analytics — If you allow analytics cookies, we collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages viewed, features used, session duration, and general browser usage patterns. This helps us improve the product and measure adoption. Optional Google Analytics browser/device measurement is separate from the signed-in account activity record described above.
- Device and Browser Information — We may collect your browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers for security and troubleshooting purposes.
- Cookies and Local Storage — We use essential cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session, remember your preferences (such as theme settings), cache product state, and retain your privacy choices. If you opt in, analytics and advertising-related cookies may also be set by our measurement providers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Service — Deliver scanner results, scheduled shared market analysis and themes, journal calculations, and other platform features
- Improve the platform — Analyze usage patterns to identify bugs, optimize performance, and develop new features
- Review and respond to feedback — Triage member-reported problems and feature ideas and contact you about your submission when appropriate
- Measure account adoption — Understand whether signed-in members complete a core workflow and return to use a core feature on a later day, without treating a login or idle app heartbeat as retention
- Communicate with you — Send important account notifications, service updates, and changes to our terms or policies
- Ensure security — Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to accounts
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
We take the security of your data seriously and implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards:
- Data is transmitted using TLS/SSL encryption
- Sensitive information is encrypted at rest
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
- We conduct regular security reviews and updates
Server-Side Provider Keys: Market data and AI requests are routed through authenticated server-side services where provider keys are kept as server-side secrets. Users do not need to supply or store third-party market-data API keys in the browser.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
We work with the following categories of third-party service providers:
- Market Data Providers — We integrate with third-party APIs to deliver delayed and historical market data, stock quotes, and options flow information. These providers have their own privacy policies governing data they collect.
- AI Providers — Scheduled market-analysis services may transmit shared market inputs such as index and sector moves, themes, scanner summaries, ticker symbols, and market-session context to Anthropic's API for processing. The current journal review is rules-based; journal notes and personal trade data are not sent to an AI provider for that review. We do not intentionally send your account password, payment details, or brokerage credentials to Anthropic.
- Analytics Services — We use analytics providers, including Google Analytics and privacy-friendly infrastructure analytics, to understand platform usage, improve the user experience, and measure product performance.
- Email Delivery Services — We use an email delivery provider to send service messages and route a copy of member-submitted feedback to our authorized support inbox. The durable feedback receipt remains in our protected application database.
- Advertising and Measurement Services — If marketing campaigns are active and you grant consent, we may use Google Ads conversion tracking, remarketing, or related advertising features to measure campaign effectiveness and reach relevant audiences.
- Hosting Infrastructure — Our platform is hosted on reputable cloud infrastructure providers with industry-standard security certifications.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Market Action Center uses essential cookies and local storage for core product functionality. If you grant consent, we also use analytics cookies and may use advertising or remarketing cookies for campaign measurement.
- Essential Cookies — Required for authentication, session management, and core platform functionality
- Preference Cookies — Store your display preferences, such as light/dark theme selection
- Analytics Cookies — Help us understand page views, feature usage, and product performance when you opt in
- Advertising Cookies — May be used by Google Ads or related providers for conversion measurement, attribution, and remarketing when you opt in
- Local Storage — Used to store user preferences, cached product state, and your privacy choices client-side for performance and functionality
You can manage your cookie settings through the privacy banner, your browser settings, or by contacting us at contact@marketactioncenter.com. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Service.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information and account data for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide you the Service.
- Active accounts — Your data is retained and accessible throughout the life of your account
- Closed accounts — Upon account closure or deletion request, we will delete your personal data within 90 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.
- Backup retention — Residual copies in backups may persist for a limited period but will be overwritten in the normal course of operations
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — Request that we delete your account and associated personal data
- Data Export — Download your user-owned Journal, Watchlist, calendar, recap, analysis, and settings data from Settings → Account or from the account-access screen. Shared market caches, authentication tokens, analytics and advertising identifiers, billing records, and secrets are excluded.
- Opt-Out — Unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time
- Restriction — Request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
You can start an export or open a prefilled account-deletion request from Settings → Account, including when subscription access is unavailable. A deletion request opens an email for identity verification and does not automatically delete the account. You can also contact us at contact@marketactioncenter.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
Market Action Center is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at contact@marketactioncenter.com.
9. International Data Transfers
If you access Market Action Center from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection regardless of where it is processed.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. We will also update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
